Practice tasks

Work down the list. Each one exists because a real banking application behaves this way, and each one has a rule you can assert on rather than a screenshot you have to eyeball.

Statement

  1. Filter the statement to the Savings account and the type UPI, and assert the row count against #sum-rows.
  2. Set a date range of 2026-10-20 to 2026-10-28 and assert every visible date falls inside it.
  3. Set a minimum amount of 5000 and assert no row below it survives - remember a debit is shown as a negative number.
  4. Sort by amount twice and assert the order reverses.
  5. Page to the last page and assert #next-page is disabled.
  6. Apply filters that match nothing and assert #stmt-empty appears and the table body is empty.
  7. Assert the credits and debits in the summary add up to the net figure.

Transfer and OTP

  1. Send ₹1,000 by IMPS and assert the charge is ₹5 and the GST on it is ₹0.90.
  2. Try ₹6,00,000 by IMPS and assert the per-transaction limit error - then switch to NEFT and assert it is allowed.
  3. Try to send more than the account balance and assert the insufficient-funds error.
  4. Pick the payee Vignesh (added 12 days ago) and then add a brand new payee - assert only the new one shows the ₹5,000 cooling-period cap.
  5. Enter a wrong OTP three times and assert the transfer is locked and the confirm button is disabled.
  6. Complete a transfer and assert the balance on the dashboard dropped by exactly the total debited.
  7. Assert the reference number on the receipt matches the pattern FC-TXN- followed by 8 digits.

Payees, cards, loans and deposits

  1. Add a payee with mismatched account numbers and assert the error; then with an IFSC of MERD1001289 (a 1 where the zero should be) and assert the format error.
  2. Add a valid payee and assert it appears in the transfer payee list without a page reload.
  3. Block a card and assert the limit form refuses to save for it.
  4. Set a PIN of 1111 and assert the repeated-digit rule; then 1234 and assert the sequence rule.
  5. Calculate the EMI for ₹10,00,000 over 120 months at 8.65% and assert it is ₹12,479 (rounded to the rupee).
  6. Ask for a loan below the product minimum and assert the eligibility message rather than a calculation.
  7. Book an FD of ₹1,00,000 for 400 days and assert the rate used is the 365-729 day band, not the one below it.
  8. Tick senior citizen and assert the rate rises by exactly 0.5 percentage points.

Reset

Everything is kept in localStorage. Clear it to start again:
